OUR SERVICES

STATE - FUNDED
PETROLEUM  PROGRAMS

TRUSTED +
DEDICATED

At Advanced Environmental Technologies (AET), our extensive experience in petroleum contamination cleanup spans across multiple states, including Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and South Carolina. With over 6,000 projects completed under various state-funded programs, we specialize in site assessments, remedial action plans, operation and maintenance, post-remedial monitoring, and more.

State funded petroleum restoration programs are designed to protect the public, those looking to purchase new properties and current property owners.  As a state contractor, we are prequalified to assist property and storage tank owners and operators in applying and obtaining funds to assess and remediate eligible sites from UST and AST releases.

AET  has been at the forefront of assessing and rehabilitating contaminated sites since 1998.  In our  26-year history, we have worked on more than 5,500 petroleum impacted sites in Florida alone and have consistently ranked among the leading contractors in the FDEP Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP) based on annual work order volumes and Contractor Performance Evaluations (CPE). In addition to our work for the FDEP - under both the Preapproval Program and Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP) - we have also worked on hundreds of insurance and private party cleanup sites, as well as petroleum cleanup sites aboard Federal military installations in various states. AET also currently maintains competitive contracts with multiple top 10 c-store chains in the U.S. for environmental consulting services. We are proud to boast a long history working with other County and State government entities including:

  •  Georgia Environmental Protection Division

  •  Alabama Department of Environmental Management

  •  North Carolina Department of Natural Resources

  •  South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control

  •  Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality

  •  Polk County Utilities Administration

  •  Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners

  •  Miami-Dade County Environmental Resources Management

At AET, we're committed to ensuring environmental safety and protecting communities from the harmful effects of releases from underground storage tanks (USTs) and aboveground storage tanks (ASTs). These releases, as defined by federal regulations in 40 CFR Section 280.12, pose significant risks to soil, groundwater, surface water, and indoor air quality if left unchecked. That's why we work with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and state agencies to address these issues promptly and effectively.

Each contaminated UST site presents unique challenges, ranging from severe contamination affecting drinking water sources to minimal groundwater impact that facilitates swift and cost-effective cleanup. While some sites may necessitate extensive cleanup efforts spanning years and costing millions of dollars, others can be restored relatively quickly and affordably. Our expertise allows us to tailor our approach to the specific needs of each site, ensuring efficient and thorough remediation while minimizing environmental impact and financial burden.

At AET, we're dedicated to mitigating the adverse effects of petroleum releases and safeguarding communities and ecosystems. Through our proactive collaboration with regulatory agencies and our commitment to excellence in environmental management, we strive to create a healthier and safer future for all.
